This is not anonymous.

Why AI?
Because tools do not determine authenticity. Intent does.
I use AI the way producers use instruments — as a medium, not a shortcut.
MetalRican is not about pressing generate.
It’s about direction.
Curation.
Message.
Control.
AI is the amplifier.
The conviction is human.
Why Puerto Rican Identity?
Because I am Puerto Rican. Born & raised on the island.
Not as branding.
Not as trend.
Not as aesthetic.
As lived experience.
Puerto Rican identity carries tension — colonial history, diaspora movement, resilience, pride, contradiction.
MetalRican is shaped by that pressure.
From Grito de Lares to modern collapse, from salsa rhythm to blast beats — the island’s DNA runs through the project.
This is not flag-waving for decoration.
This is documentation.
Why Multiple Genres?
Because identity is not one sound.
Puerto Rico is rhythm and aggression.
Celebration and resistance.
Melody and confrontation.
So MetalRican moves between:

- Power Metal
- Salsa
- Hybrid forms
- Whatever the message requires
The message decides the genre.
Not the algorithm.
Why Heavy?
Because heaviness forces attention.
Distortion is tension made audible.
Breakdowns are conflict translated into rhythm.
The themes are heavy — so the sound must be heavy.
What MetalRican Is Not
MetalRican is not a movement.
It’s not activism.
It’s not here to “save” music.
It’s not a replacement for musicians.
It’s not a culture war argument.
And it isn’t confined to one genre.
There is metal.

There is distortion.
But there is also English-language salsa.
Rhythm-driven records.
Hybrid releases.
